After the last Ultracode Munich meetup, I’ve experienced how hard it is to post-produce a video, so let me tell you as I’m very happy in succeeding all those steps and then provide nice content (big up to our speakers Mario, Gregor and Enrique). Thanks to all who came, hope you enjoyed it, if so share the info from BeMyApp Germany twitter and facebook page!
First of all, I noticed that I recorded the talk with a HD MTS format so that each talk were like 2GO, good start… Then my Mac had problem reading the SD card so I had to find a solution (big up to the Lernstift team), I was kind of relax after that BUT I also noticed that as I am using iMovie, I couldn’t post produce the MTS format… so I had to download Handbrake (here is the big up to Iwan tips) to convert the file on .MKV format so I can finally get them into iMovie… Each files took at least two hours to get converted, then each files took at least an hour to get uploaded into iMovie -_-
At this point, I did the post-production and guess what: it took me 5 minutes! Of course, it’s not finish as I had to save the whole file on .m4v (1,5 hours for each files) and I finally had to uploaded then on BeMyApp youtube (2 hours each).
So finally, here are the video recorded presentations, again sorry to Mario as I couldn’t record his presentation on how to code a creative page transition effect with CSS 3D transforms & transitions. You can still have a look at his work on his website.
